Spring has Sprung New TOMS Styles
You know that all of us at Shopaholic Mommy love TOMS Shoes. The designs are cute, the materials are durable and (my personal favorite) every time you buy, you’re helping someone in need. I was browsing the site today and found a bunch of new-for-spring styles that I just love! I’m going to be using a TOMS coupon code to stock up on a few favorites, just in time for spring!
One thing I don’t like about the warmer weather is when my feet get too hot. Since I live in Florida, being hot is par for the course, and my footwear is often limited to flip flops, sandals and other very open shoes. Sometimes, though, that’s just not appropriate or desired. I am excited to see that TOMS has Freetown Classics for women, made from an ultra-breathable fabric! The yellow is perfect for spring, and they also come in black, navy and fuschia. For equal breathability, TOMS is also carrying Crocheted Classics. The fuschia is not quite as bold as it is in the Freetown Classics, so I think I’m going to give that color a try in this style.
My favorite color is purple, and I have a lot of tops and socks in various shades of periwinkle, lavender, orchid, lilac… you get the picture. I’ve never had purple shoes other than a whimsical pair of jelly shoes, though; the thought really has never occurred to me! Lucky for me, TOMS offers several new styles in this majestic shade. The Pink Primrose Women’s Vegan Classics are covered in pinkish-purple blooms, and will look great with jeans, capris, shorts or a denim skirt. The Lilac Wissett Women’s Desert Boots are, as the name implies, in a stunning shade of the springtime flower! These would be great for those mornings and evenings in the spring when there is still a bit of a chill in the air. The Purple Women’s Bimini Stitchouts are perfect for throwing on for a quick jaunt down to the mailbox or even for keeping in the car to toss on after an afternoon spent on the beach.
TOMS is also offering a great new selection in ballet flats (the Giselle Grey Suedes are both elegant looking and a bit unique), wedges (the Corbels are so flowery and springish!) and Cordones (my favorite new color is the Pink Ceara).
If you weren’t aware (and I wasn’t!), April 10 is One Day Without Shoes. The point of this worldwide observance is to spread awareness about the necessity of having shoes, particularly for children and needy individuals around the world. I’m going to buy a t-shirt with some of the extra cash I’ll save by using TOMS coupons on the rest of my spring shoe splurge… just like with all of their other products, purchasing a t-shirt also gives a pair of shoes to a child in need. Spreading awareness, snagging a new shirt and providing shoes to someone else are all great benefits!
