Thank You Teachers
Today we went to school to pick up our supplies and get the necessary paperwork that is needed for the first day of school. I find myself not wanting the summer to be over. The kids and I have had so much fun that I am kinda sad to see it come to an end. I realize that it is not just me that feels this way. I spoke to my daughters teacher and she was telling me how she has been working since Tuesday getting the classroom ready and finishing last minute details for her own children to start school. This made me so grateful for teachers and how hard they work! I was on a blog that a friend of mine has and she posted this beautiful post honoring all teachers. I felt the need to share it and it warranted its own blog post. “Today a teacher somewhere in your neighborhood is preparing materials for a new school year. Just as you read this, teachers are using their “free time”, and investing their own money for your child’s literacy, prosperity and future. Here’s to a successful 2011-2012 school year for all!” (Re-post if you are a teacher, know a teacher or simply appreciate teachers.) We appreciate all your hard work and how you help guide our children throughout the school year!
