Treat it Forward

I’ll be honest, we don’t eat fast food at all really but I felt that it was important to spread the word about something that Wendy’s is doing. This Father’s Day Weekend Wendy’s “treating it forward”. What this means is that for every Frosty bought at Wendy’s this fathers day weekend they will donate 50 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.The money raised goes into placing kids that are in foster care into permanent homes. In the US nearly 115,000 children are in foster care and ready for adoption. Help spread the word and even if you don’t go buy a frosty you can help by just spreading the word because for every facebook post and tweet Wendy’s will donate an additional 50 cents! Through the money we raise, we are able to provide free educational resources, promote awareness, assist policymakers and employers, and support adoption professionals and agencies throughout the United States and Canada to ensure that every child finds a forever home.”
