Easter is the greatest feast day in the Christian calendar because it celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This year Easter falls on Sunday April 24, 2011. Easter also marks the end of the 40 days of Lent where fasting and reconciliation occur.

Did you know that roughly $1.9 billion is spent on Easter candy, second only to Halloween in candy consumption – those are some crazy numbers!
